Andreas Fürer (*1993) and Sonjoi Nielsen (*1994) aka Fuerer Nielsen, is a swiss artist duo based in Zürich, Switzerland.

The artist duo Fuerer Nielsen (Andreas Fürer & Sonjoi Nielsen) use mash-ups from pop culture and everyday objects in their works. In their fictitious replicas, products are created that appear both familiar and uncanny in this shift. The style and aesthetics of the works not only serve associations with other contexts (and memories), but also integrate them into digital worlds. The visible processes of the exhibited objects become part of the artistic statement. They are sometimes reminiscent of the dynamics of a game world or the metaverse, where reality and virtuality are constantly reshaping themselves.
